The events
01 Nov 2017: Miss A, (who was also an elected local counselllor for the Labour Party) said that James Dornan MSP, her boss, had been contacted by someone, possibly McCann, from SNP Party headquarters. Without consulting her Dornan copied MCann her private Twitter messages of 26 September 2016, which he had retained for over a year without her knowledge or permission. His actions well fit the profile of senior officials of the SNP whose practice is to retain information which they use later to bring to account officers and/or staff who might fall foul of the Party hierarchy.
02 Nov 2017: Mark was ordered to attend a meeting with John Swinney at which Liz Lloyd was present, and was informed that there was on-going “chatter” among Party members about him in relation to the “MeToo” movement.
03 Nov 2017: Liz Lloyd convened a second meeting with Mark at which she showed him copies of his messages to Miss A. She said that a complaint that had been lodged against him by an SNP Party member, James Dornan and informed him that his position as a minister of the government was no longer tenable and he would need to resign.
05 Nov 2017: Mark resigned as minister for childcare and early years.
07 Nov 2017: In a weird turn of events Sturgeon dismissed the notion that Mark should have been forced to resign claiming that “Some may well have thought it was not serious enough to resign for.”
Swinney and Lloyd had acted without first gaining the authority of Sturgeon begging the question. Who was running the Party?
Murrell told the Holyrood Inquiry that Party policy dictated the handling of complaints within the Party was the responsibility of the Party Executive and it did not share case details with any other organisation unless the complaint highlighted a “clear act of criminality”, and at no time in the Autumn of 2017 did the Party inform any Scottish Government civil servant or special advisor of a complaint by a Party member against a minister of the Government.
Swinney and Lloyd had acted without first gaining the authority of Sturgeon begging the question. Who was running the Party?
Swinney and Lloyd contravened the ministerial code and should have been dismissed by Sturgeon.

Are we to assume from Sturgeons statement following the resignation of Mark McDonald that the SNP employ a sliding scale to gauge sexual harassment? Where did Patrick Grady’s sexual harassment of a teenaged staffer fall on that scale? Was Blackford’s” support for Grady indicative of what the SNP hierarchy deemed permissible and not eligible to sanction?
As for Swinney, Murrell and his apparently estranged wife Sturgeon along with so many others in and around the SNP ARE EXTREMELY ADEPT at telling lies, under oath or otherwise.
Murrell is the first to “cop” for it however the clock is still ticking and will without doubt strike again cometh the hour.

The Woke group are still in place and more overtly controlling policy. Angus Robertson, spurned by the electorate might find his lack of access to taxpayers money a blow. But I expect Swinney will ensure financial hardship does not befall his buddy. Kirsty Oswald, will surely find it impossible to continue to escape public attention and exposure. Jenny Gilruth, has taken on the onerous duties of Deputy First Minister which allows her to continue to contribute nothing of political substance on a significantly increased salary whilst ensuring her wife of a different political persuasion is kept fully informed of SNP foibles. Alyn Smith, John Nicolson, Stuart McDonald, Stewart McDonald, Martin Docherty, Kirsty Blackman, Hannah Bardell and many other WOKE inspired activists, continue to exert their influence over Party policy. One of the weakest links is Swinney who has been the scourge of the SNP from the time he joined the Party with his “besty” friend Peter Murrell over 30 years ago. There will be a reckoning one day between the Scottish public and Swinney I hope that day is not far away.

Aye CJ, “the Woke group” influence continues to hold firm within the SNP, however, the honour amongst thieves may disintegrate and that may well see Swinney cast adrift having served his purpose as their useful idiot. What it will take to expose Swinney for what he is remains to be seen, “the Scottish public” are entitled to know the role he played in attempting to destroy Alex Salmond and I agree “I hope that day is not far away”!

Of note was his role as leader of the “me2” activists in Scotland in the autumn of 2017 when he promoted the use of innuendo to destroy the political career of Mark Macdonald, a fellow government minister. Then emboldened by the success of his venture he and other like minded WOKE conspirators focused their poisoned crosshairs of false accusations onto an unsuspecting Alex Salmond. I am advised of the detail of what occurred and the evidence of this is contained in the many blogs I published in past years. As others do I know but cannot air the names of his accusers and the reasons they allowed themselves to get caught up in the conspiracy. But the old saying “Hell has no fury like a woman scorned” is a fitting comment when coupled with the crime scene advice , “identify someone on the fringes of events who gets involved for no apparent purpose then returns to the background” Our day will come!!
