February 2014: Obama told Fareed Zakaria, a member of both the Council For Foreign Relations (CFR) and Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission, that the United States “brokered” the coup in Ukraine in February 2014.
Obama’s candid admission should not come as a surprise following the release of a surreptitiously recorded conversation between Victoria Nuland, the US-Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, and Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the US Ambassador to Ukraine.
The conversation centred on ousting Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych and replacing him with one of several hand-picked State Department choices. Nuland instructed Pyatt to “have the UN glue this thing” and then dismissively added “fuck the EU” for its role negotiating the crisis.
The U.S. orchestrated “transition,” as Obama characterized it, resulted in the appointment of fascists to key positions in the Kiev government and led to the current war in eastern Ukraine launched by Petro Poroshenko, the former confectionery magnate turned Ukrainian president.
Poroshenko’s war on those who did not accept the nationalist government in Kiev has thus far killed more than 5,000 people, although unofficial tallies are far higher.
In the not too distant past, the U.S. government attempted to hide its involvement in coups and the removal of democratically elected leaders relying on the CIA to ferment coups and counter-revolutions.
However, since the advent of NGO and foundation spawned “colour revolutions” attributed to the people of target countries, while in actuality were orchestrated by USAID and the National Endowment for Democracy, the U.S. government has admitted its role in overturning governments.

Aye CJ, THAT, is potentially what Scotland is up against when it seriously sets out to gain Independence from its colonialist masters in neighbouring England. Too many people in our country and I include in this, (elected representatives) are naive in the extreme if they believe only Westminster stands between us and a free and Independent Scotland.

I have one comment to make, prompted by your article, and it is not a criticism.
I have observed the mental resistance that uninformed people exhibit to the idea that ‘we’ (the western democracies, NATO however they euphemistically assign our machiavellian rulers a safe sounding name) would propel the fascists into power.
and I do note that in general one should not use the ‘F’ word lightly.
So, while the Ultra Nationalists that chose to side with the Third Reich to fight against the murderous Soviet Invaders of the Red Army who overran their country in 1927 can nowadays be painted with that name, one can avoid that whole ‘controversy’ by uncontroversialy, and correctly, naming them as ‘Ultra Nationalists’.
The FACT that these extremist brigades were welcomed into the Ukrainian National Army then allowed to start a pogrom, effectively an ethnic cleansing or genocide, against the the Ethnic Russians in the East of Ukraine demonstrates beyond doubt that their leadership is responsible for allowing this Fighting to Escalate.
People also don’t want to hear that the Special Military Operation can by justified under UN article 51 by the Russian Federation of the ‘responsibility to protect’ the lives of an endangered people, Exactly the same justificatory doctrine NATO used to start others wars, is completely ignored by ‘western’ media.
